Collection: Kasuri Table Napkins

Kurume Kasuri is a traditional Japanese Ikat weaving process that requires over 30 steps and takes 2-4 months to make.  Woven slowly on a shuttle loom, the strategically dyed threads require the handiwork of craftsmen who carefully maeuver the threads into the "blurry" patterns.  A process that requires a lot of patience resulting in a deep charm.  Made in small batches in Fukuoka.
