Traditional Japanese Kiribako Paulownia box with Sanadahimo Ribbon.

Price is for each box.

An ancient storage tradition, the Kiribako box is traditionally used to store precious objects like kimonos, vessels, and hanging scrolls used in the Tea Ceremony.

The lightweight wood is naturally resistant to moisture and heat resistant,  protecting the interior from humidity and insects.

"Sanadahimo" is an ancient ribbon used to tie Kiribako for the Tea Ceramony. Due to its durability, it was also used for luggage and for uses such as tying the handles of samurai swords.
